Don’t you just love when recipes come together in under 15 minutes from start to finish? Don’t you love it even more when they have only 5 steps AND only 5 ingredients- ingredients you probably already have in your pantry?
Gosh, I just love when that happens. I love it the most when the recipe is actually delicious. You’d think that’d be a given but have you tried some of those recipes that claim to be “healthy” with minimal ingredients? BLECK city okay??
These babies are actually good AND healthy. They have no refined-sugar which I am all about. When I really started to get serious about my health I tried to stay clear of cane sugar but not until recently have I upped my efforts. Simply put- hormonal acne is a B and this pregnancy has let the B word fly.
Awesome. Really awesome.
So instead I’ve been making treats that satisfy my sweet tooth, are packed with protein and have no refined sugar to aide my efforts in a happy and healthy gut which always equals happy skin.
We all know my obsession with Nuzest will never end so OF COURSE, I had to use them in this recipe. I used their Just Natural protein which is plain jane perfection. So many people have told me they love all things Nuzest when they finally take the plunge so, if you haven’t, what are you waiting for? I promise, it will totally be worth it AND I have a code that will make your wallet happy too- code “ahealthyharmony” will save you on every single purchase you make!
Anyway- these beauties can be completely customized to your liking but I can’t tell you how they’ll turn out if you use a different protein. Remember, not all proteins are created the same.

Chocolate Coconut Cashew Crunch Balls
These fudge-like crunch balls pack a punch of protein that will also satisfy your sweet tooth
- 1/2 cup Cashew Butter
- 1/4 cup Liquid Sweetener (such as maple, honey or date syrup)
- 2 tbsp Coconut Sugar
- 1/2 serving Nuzest Just Natural Protein
- 1/2 cup Dairy-Free Chocolate
In a medium bowl, mix together the coconut sugar, syrup, cashew butter and protein powder.
Form the dough into tbsp sized balls and place them on a parchment lined plate. You should get about 12 balls. Place them in the freezer to set up for about 10 minutes.
In a small bowl, melt the chocolate in the microwave until fully melted. Start with 30 seconds, stir and place back in the microwave for increments of 15 seconds until done.
Drizzle, spoon or drop each ball into the melted chocolate before placing the ball onto the parchment paper.
Once all the balls are coated, pop the plate into the refrigerator to let them set completely.
Keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 5 days.
